On March 23rd, The Great LEGO Race will debut at LEGOLAND Florida Resort, marking the first virtual reality (VR) roller coaster geared JUST for kids.

Here’s a preview of what you can expect for Orlando’s latest attraction – plus a preview of other exciting features to come to LEGOLAND later this year!

In addition to being the first kid-specific VR roller coaster, The Great LEGO Race is the first-ever integration of the world-famous LEGO brand and minifigure characters with VR technology.

The Great LEGO Race will be located in the theme park’s LEGO Technic area. Riders who choose to wear the VR headsets will race via LEGO-built vehicles against a pharaoh, a pirate, a surfer, and a wizard. Examples of the vehicles include a rocket-powered windsurfing rig and a canopied litter carried by mummies.

All in all it sounds like an exciting time for kids everywhere!
